How does this tourney work? How are the teams formed? It seems like some are heavy with specific school players and others are not? And, how do the champions split the $2,000,00?

Basically anyone can make a team. You just can't have anyone currently under contract with an NBA team. It's easy to form team heavy with specific schools because most of those guys know each other and are willing to play together.
