Tailgate lot options?

I usually go to the Whip Mix lot but understand it won't open until 5pm. I also heard the grass lot across the street from Whip Mix is now a season pass only lot? Anyone know the truth on that?

Any other nearby options other than the fairgrounds?

I am not sure about that lot but HOF Cafe offers limited parking. You can use their restrooms and also get a free appetizer. Its not quite as far as KFEC, obviously. There is also a pay lot caddy corner to JP Stadium, or close to it.
