The Cards won everything but the game. They had 7 more 1st downs, 53 more rushing yards and 27 more passing yards. They won the time of possession and forced more TO's. CBS even gave Lamar Jackson the MVP of the game.
The only reason the Cards lost the game was that 82 yard fumble TD. Take that 7 points away and give the Cards at least a FG on that series and it's a 3 point Cards win. I know if all that happened the game may have been different but the point is Auburn is not in some other universe than the Cards as a Auburn fan has said on this board.
One of these days a BS fluke play is not going to cost the Cards in these big games. We have a history of them. Remember WVU, UCF, and Clemson to name a few?
