There's always numerous reasons why games are won and lost but if you
take away Wayne's incredible 12 for 12 from the line, the rest of the
team shot 7 for 23 from the line and if you take away Terry's 3
uncontested layups from steals we shot 3 for 32 from the field in the
2nd half and in overtime. Ouch.

Congrats to MSU. They outplayed us after intermission.

Going into drought mode in the second half killed it. The FT shooting of course didn't help either.

Hey OP, YOU GOT YOUR FACTS WRONG! Blackshear goes 12-12 and the rest of the team goes 8-17. This is per the box score on ESPN.COM

Really kinda sad. MSU deserved the win but 3-32 less uncontested is a joke.

Oh well...

Go Cards!

I agree. MSU kicked out collective butts after intermission and simply earned their ticket to Indy. It was going to happen eventually because this team has had long scoring droughts and poor shooting streaks all season long. Today is was pretty much the entire second half and yet they were still 1 made free throw from possibly making it Indy themselves. Who knows what MSU would have done had Mathiang made that second free throw in regulation. MSU might have won it right there. Lord knows they had plenty of time to make a play.

It's all good. Michigan State is worthy. They had to beat a 10, 2, 3, and 4 seed to get to Indy. They earned it.

You are correct about the free throw numbers, I read it wrong. Still some ugly numbers even with the adjustment.

As a team, we shot a higher FT percentage in this game than we have averaged this season...

ugly numbers lmao. louisville is lucky very lucky to made it as far as they have. they are the worst offensive team to ever make the great 8. i guess when you hack and beat everyone to death you stand a chance. sign em up for football their recruiting class sucks. worst thing loserville ever did was join the acc. you will be low to mid tier your whole time there

I am glad for you that uk is still winning. It is obviously the only way for you to validate your existence. Go kayuts

Actually, I was hoping for an SEC invite where just about no one cares how they play basketball.
