Russ Smith made a game-winning floater in double-overtime on Tuesday, propelling the Grizzlies to a 73-71 win vs. the Orlando Magic 'Blue' team.

Smith came off the bench but finished with a team-high 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting, two 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 28 minutes of action.

Seen where rozier done pretty decent also
My brother in Portland is a long-time Warriors fan of decades. He mentioned Russ in a conversation, when Russ played some super quality minutes for the grizzlies, I believe during the playoffs. He was amazed by his speed and moxie.

I'm sure the NBA is more interested in Russ than ever.

I am a little surprised no one mentioned that he was matched up against Peyton. Maybe not all night, but I am sure they were quite a bit. Russ had a good game, Peyton not so much. 7 assists, but 6 turnovers and not quite stellar D one would expect. I doubt we see Peyton back in the show.

What has impressed me about Russ in the Summer League games is his passing. He is making some really crafty (and effective) passes. Right now, he is definitely thinking pass first, although I do see some of the Russ that really wants to make that critical shot himself. And he IS taking and making those shots as well in the two games I watched.

Russ made some nice passes here too, our bigs struggled to catch them sometimes.

Ugh, don't remind me. Other than Trez, our bigs had a really rough time just catching post passes last year too. Then doing something if they did catch it was problematic as well.

Chane was a great player but he didn't go straight up when he caught it. He always had to take the dribble to gather and that didn't always work out. Dieng didn't catch them all either.

All great players, but sometimes catching the ball in traffic was challenging.
