I would rather have OSU in the title game against Notre Dame instead of Texas. I don’t want Texas to win the championship and have to listen to all the SEC fans talk about how good they are because their conference foe won the championships.
OSU's lack of discipline has killed two drives. Bad reflection on coaching staff.Weird game. Lots of weird stuff happening. Guys throwing a random punch 5 seconds after the play, O lineman coming out of left field after the whistle for yet another 15 yarder.
It's exactly why I like the Irish.OSU's lack of discipline has killed two drives. Bad reflection on coaching staff.
Oh gosh. If ND beats OSU then they are truly blessed. OSU is so much the better team and should win going away against the Irish. It's exactly why I like the Irish.
Maybe. I'll tell you if OSU pulls all that undisciplined crap they did last night, the Irish will take advantage of it.Maybe the good Lord above is watching college football this season?
Because the Irish are some great team or the Lord will strike down the undisciplined Buckeyes?Maybe. I'll tell you if OSU pulls all that undisciplined crap they did last night, the Irish will take advantage of it.

Sorry, but I can't stand ND and OSU may as well be Louisville in this game.
My feelings exactly. I have never hated ND before and I really don't hate the institution or the incredible history. I don't like this team because they get every single break they need to beat teams that are better than them. The game turned on two plays. In the fourth quarter Ohio State converted a 4th and 2 at the Texas 43. When they first lined up, Texas was confused and called a time out. They were still confused coming out of the TO, and the tOSU QB just ran at a bubble and got a big gain. They went on to score, 21-14. Texas then drives to the tOSU 1 yd line with a first goal and couldn’t get in. On 4th and goal from the 7, Evers is hit attempting to pass. The ball bounces right up to the tOSU player who hit him. He runs for a TD. the 4th and 2 and the 4th goal was the whole ball game.
I can’t help but watch these games, knowing how our game with ND went, and think we could play with these teams.
They’re good academically. I would stop short of “elite”.I think ND in this new world is going to be a major player. Legit title contenders every year. ND didn’t or wasn’t aggressively cheating before NIL. You know they have a war chest of money. It is just a matter do they open the flood gates or limit it.
It is a brand, it is a football school and academically elite. They won’t churn their roster as much. Kids that go there aren’t only shooting for the NFL. They can actively recruit high school, transfers and grad transfers. They don’t play in a conference. Their schedule won’t be that tough but good enough.
It already started with media and coaches moaning about them not being in a conference. They all see it coming. Notre Dame may go on a run here.
What was effective for ND was Georgia having to start the "greenest" of QB's and it was pretty effective for the Penn State cornerback falling down and leaving open the receiver he was defending all alone for the tying touchdown.Lot of “ifs” to go all around, as you could make an argument against a lot of the teams that made it into the playoff. I am no fan of the Irish, but I have said ever since we lost to them in South Bend, “they are a very good football team”, as they really have no obvious weaknesses. Riley Leonard is as difficult to defend as any QB in the country, as his decision making ability is underestimated, those multiple audibles were most effective against UGA and PSU.
Right. Ask Arizona St.But, as we all know, the better team doesn't always win.
OSU beat PSU by 7 points. Both OSU and Notre Dame dominated IU.What was effective for ND was Georgia having to start the "greenest" of QB's and it was pretty effective for the Penn State cornerback falling down and leaving open the receiver he was defending all alone for the tying touchdown.
OSU smoked both IU and Penn State this season and didn't need good luck and favorable flags to do it. ND should lose this game by double digits. But, as we all know, the better team doesn't always win.
You're right OSU didn't dominate Penn State even though they kind of did throughout the game. I think that's what I remembered, but the score was only seven points.OSU beat PSU by 7 points. Both OSU and Notre Dame dominated IU.
