Will say this for the guy, he is ALWAYS positive. And that's probably exactly what we needed after 2 years of Sergeant Dingleberry.

Says it was a LONG film session reviewing Tennessee

Says there was a lot of positives to build on.(If you say so) lol

Early part of the 9 days of practice was going back to training camp mode, like summer, then focus more on Bellarmine last few days.

Asked about Tennessee being physical and addressing that, said we always look to play more physical, didn't really say it was addressed bc of that game

Said players approach was great, looking to get better

Tons of respect for Scotty and BU. He and Doug were together at XU, then he hired Doug at Winthrop and Pitinoo snatched him away to come back here.

Nothing really about adjusting after the Tennessee game and how it went(if you say so) lol, just need to emphasize the system and clean things up.

Hope to see something that looks more like an offensive system tomorrow night.

I'll be there, hope a bunch more people will be too

We're gonna be in most games if they just run the stuff like they should. No standing around, more ball movement, motion.

Better stuff,better options,better shots= better results.

I'm still of the opinion the guys just weren't prepared for what UT did to them defensively. They had been cruising since the Bahamas and seeing how they were being picked to beat the Vols, they just wasn't ready to be hit in the mouth.

They kept at it but UT never relented, boosted offensively by its effective defense against their opponent. Players tend to shoot better when they're playing great defense. UT was confident in what they were doing so they made shots.

Confidence wins basketball games and UT had an abundance of it that game.

UofL needed this. They now know what to expect when they play top teams. These guys are experienced players, but not together as a team. I think this will have them ready for the next big game.

I think it was this 👆 plus they weren't used to playing in that environment and Tennessee knocked down a couple 3's right out of the gate then jumped out to a 10-0 lead. It has to affect your psychy to have that crowd show out for you and you immediately fall behind 10 -0..

Hopefully we learned from it and get better and it's not who we are...

I want to agree with this 100%, however not sure about the statement of shooting better when playing great defense. We started shooting from the start and shots weren't falling... any confidence we had was gone. Now, how do we keep from that happening again or at least avoid those types of situations? Not sure beating Bellermaine will provide the answers.

I was referring to UT's shooting, not UofL's. Once UT was getting results from their stingy defense, it boosted their confidence and that led to them making shots.
