Aaron eluded to it but, at this point we need to play man to man defense going forward this year. Especially with all these freshmen playing, That way there is way less thinking for them and they will play faster.

I agree about playing man to man "D" it seems like just a few season's ago we played man to man often . Our zone sometimes gets beat up so yes why not play man. Aaron has that length for it and Snyder isn't as bad on D as CP says he is. I like Anas coming from the weak side and swatting those basketballs. Just hope distraction doesn't creep into this team. We have a chance to make a run.
Because without CJ our guys would continually get beat off the dribble, WB, Mango, Anas would foul out of every game. We need to keep switching and disguising our defense. That's our strength.

I think we need to play some man-to-man as well but we've got to choose our spots. Our depth and personnel prevents us from being able to go with it the bulk of the game. A mix of both (65% zone - 35% man) in most games is about all we should hope for, anything else and we'd be shooting ourselves in the foot.

Zone is the only defense these boys played last year and it's the only thing that'll work this year mister.
