Lost in the UL headlines, the almighty NBA drew a whopping 6,123 fans at The Yum Center last night. Where is the chest thumping from the NBA lovers? And the J. Bruce Millers' of the world? The fans in this area couldn't care less about the NBA and they spoke loud and clear last night.

Neither team had much local flavor, or did they?

The issue is, a mid-week game, without star power, or a local player or two - who is going to care? Plus it was pre-season.

But I agree completely, this area has no interest.

The NBA was never going to do well here anybody with half a brain knows that.

I saw news video from the game. Terrible.

Hopefully this quiets down the NBA-in-The-Ville crowd for awhile...

Hope it shuts it down forever! Tired of the losers flapping their jaws about it! Take the pro game east down I-64.

I am glad they had a poor showing, hopefully a clear message was sent to the NBA. I suggest they try the next game in Lessington there is a lot less to do there.

That's kinda hard isn't it

I am not going to make a post on the subject. But travel in recruiting circles and you won’t find anyone who thinks that program is clean. You are free to have any feeling about Calipari u wish but I am not a fan of his tactics on building a program.
