MELTDOWN Gonna Happen . . .

Yes, etowncf left out the other 'perk' Damien received. He didn't keep uk on the hook for lousy bball tickets. He kept them on the hook for the debit cards, and Stoops fell for it hook line and sinker. Too funny.

I didn't gloss over a thing. The thread is about UK fans being upset that Harris chose Bama. I was just explaining why so many are upset. Just like your fans explained why they were upset when Blakeney decomitted from UL. As for our running backs we had two freshmen,a sophomore, and a Junior as our running backs, With our Freshmen being our best so it looks like we do have some depth in that department.
I didn't see any UofL fans going after Blakeney personally. I did see them however go after his Nike AAU coach. By the way did you notice the 3 schools on his final were Nike schools. We didn't hate the player just the game. Big difference.

OK I will. Until the last 48 hours we have not seen any coach start trying to recruit another running back. They were all in for Harris and thought they had a 50/50 chance at him. After he picked Bama now we are trying to flip a Pitt running back. I think that speaks volumes.(1) You don't know that's true anymore than you know what Harris told your coaches. All you're doing is rationalizing. And rationalizing so that your coaches were victims, and Harris is the bad guy. And...

(2) How do you know that, even if true, that wasn't to show Harris how badly your coaches wanted him? That they were ALL IN until he told them 'no'? You don't know otherwise. But it's better to engage in mental gymnastics to make the kid look bad.

LPT is legendary in idolizing a recruit until he decides, then condemning him when he goes elsewhere. It's a primitive fanbase with primitive intellects prone to primitive emotions.

IMO, Elam stayed here for two reasons... First, he liked the hero/star role and knew he would just be a face in the crowd at a big time football school.

And secondly, he knew he'd have to work his humongous a$$ off at Bama to stay on the team. At LPT, he knew he could keep and even enlarge it.

Good luck with flipping a kid now, that you say, they have no relationship with already. Kids are kids, but they are smart enough to know:

"I haven't heard a word from you until your #1 said NO? Now, you really want me? Yeah, right."

I don't give a flip about uk or it's coach's, but my money says they've been recruiting RB's hard. They're coach's and their job depends on it.

I never thought he'd choose UK. I would think he would like a chance to win a national championship. That's not going to happen at UK in the near future. It was a no brainer. I did think OSU had a good shot.

This is just one of a million examples of how terrible the blowhard nayshun's fanbase really is. They are just a precious and special group of nincompoops. On another message board there were a couple of those chowderheads already counting D.Harris in their recruiting numbers and rankings saying they were top 15-20. The backtracking is exquisite. It's just fun watching their meltdown but I hate it for the young kids that have to endure the threats from what is suppose to be adults. At times, I'm ashamed to say that my city has to be attached to this state. Is it possible in this day and age to succeeed from a state?
