Hope Chucky Is Ok

Just read a Si article that quoted CPK, he said the trainers said he could return. It sounds as if CPK took the conservative route and kept him benched.

I think he really wanted to see if Edwards could handle the PG position and give him as much experience possible for when Chucky does need a break or get in foul trouble.

If it is a groin strain, hopefully it is mild. Even then sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to heal. It's actually more concerning than it looks which is often the case in non contact injuries. Didn't appear that he took a hit.

Wise decision by CPK; you could by the expression on Chucky’s face that it was not serious. I expect today we will hear a more positive report on his leaving the game.

Hadley, on his knee to knee injury
" all good I'm a dog"
How bout Chucky?
" He's a dog too"

Chucky didn't look concerned, his teammates didn't look concerned, and he had no ice or heat on his groin area.

Seems to me it was something he has probably dealt with before and knows what to expect.

He may have came back in had BC made a run to tie the score, but the opposite happened when the Cards expanded the lead, so Kelsey had no reason to bring him back in.

But if he has to miss the next game, there isn't a weaker team to play than Miami. The Hurricanes are as bad as the Cards were the past two seasons.

Chucky can sit Saturday for all I care. We need him 💯 for the run and he can use the rest to recharge those batteries.
