- Damion Lee ended his Arizona visit Sunday and then flew to Louisville. The Cardinals and Wildcats are near the top of his list. Lee is the 6-6 wing from Drexel who could start right away at Louisville next season.

- The Cardinals also hosted Tyus Battle this weekend, he's a 2016 recruit who is a 5-star, top 20 overall recruit. Battle just got back from a visit to Duke and the BlueDevils are up there on his list.

- Keep an eye on Sterling Smith, the 6-4 shooter from Coppin State. He has already visited Wake Forest and Rutgers and visits to Pitt and Louisville are next. Here is an excerpt from an article in the Baltimore Sun:

It could get even more interesting next week when Smith is expected to visit Pittsburgh on Monday and Louisville on Wednesday. The interest from "between 20 and 30 schools," according to Smith, came after he made nearly 42 percent of his 3-point shots last season for the 8-23 Eagles.
"I'm a shooter, basically," Smith said Friday. "I want to go to a winning program and to a team that can use my talents for shooting."

- Here is Smith on Rick Pitino:
"When you hear the name Louisville and Coach Pitino, it's definitely a big eye-opener," Smith said. "I want to go where I can play. It's my last year and I don't want to sit on the bench. I want to come in and play and win.
"I'm looking at whether they're missing a shooter, is there a spot with productive minutes? I'm talking to the coaches and looking at their relationship with the players. I'm soaking it all in when I go on my visits, but definitely Louisville is a pretty good attraction, a big-time program."- Here is a link to that full article: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/bs-sp-coppin-state-sterling-smith-0418-20150417-story.html

- Maverick Rowan - the 6-6 shooter from the 2016 class who may reclassify - still really likes Louisville and Louisville really likes him. If the Cardinals get Lee that may effect whether Rowan reclassifies or not because essentially he'd be reclassifying to try to grab up the extra playing time at Louisville.
