Jawar Jordon deserves some Kudos! He was the bright spot on an otherwise anemic offense. Brock did what he could against a good UL “D”
Our defense did well limiting them to FG in the Red Zone but their kicker decided to show up today!
Our D wore down as the game went on as they were on the field a long time.

Their run game was good. Jordan fits this offense. He hits the line fast and hard. Turner is going to be a good one too.

This game boiled down to poor QB play and lack of speed at WR.

Defense was OK not great.
I love Tyler Hudson but he is slow. We really need to bring in some speed at WR. Tough on the QBs when the WRs can't create separation.

What good is speed at the WR if you don't have a QB who is accurate and can throw the deep ball? Even with less than 40 seconds to go in the half, Levis threw a ball 60 yards easily and was nearly caught.

I answered your question above. Speed can create separation which makes throws a lot easier for the QB. It also at times creates a need for the DB to play further off the WR so the WR does not run past them. Again, makes things easier for the QB.

Put Harrell and Watson on this roster with Hudson. They went for the money which is fine for them but they threw the team out the window. The offense is completely different with them.

There was no one that could take the top off. It condensed everything for the offense. Hudson deep balls were very seldom straight go routes most were double moves.

They had zero depth at receiver. Any injuries put them in a bind.

Losing Harrell after the spring game REALLY hurt. Losing Wiggins in the FSU game then put the WR room even further behind. Hudson was recruited to be a possession receiver, but he was forced to play the long threat as best he could this season.

NIL throws all “teams” out the window.

It’s mercenary FB now. For “skill position” players anyway.

Year to year, different faces.

Their kicker is statistically the 5th worst kicker in college football. He was named MVP of the Governor’s Cup. When people say anything can happen in a rivalry game, that’s what they mean.
