First half we look really good especially rebounding and defense. Cochran is having a great game she has really trimmed down and is in game shape. I hope the 2nd half is the same as the 1st half.

We are going to lose this game after leading 85% of the game. The first half we dominated the boards the 2nd half OK controlled the boards.

This is definitely the least talented roster Walz has had in a very long time. They're not a very smart team either taking terrible shots and having horrible turnovers.

Maybe they will improve as the season goes on but I just don't have much confidence they will. Walz just doesn't have an effective front court to compete against good teams. Harris continues to be a big disappointment.

Walz has a nice group of guards but that's about it. He has no wing scorers except Russell, but she's mostly a stand still shooter.

I won't be surprised if this team is on the bubble. You just can't blow a 17 point lead at home.

They controlled most of the game and lost at the end they have time to improve and become a good team. Their biggest problem is we have 9 freshmen on the team. The difference between the 1st half and 2nd half was rebounding. We dominated the boards the 1st half not the 2nd half. Jeff has always focused on recruiting good guards he needs to focus more on recruiting strong centers. I think the last good big we had was Kylee Shook.

This loss is ALL on Walz. Not only coaching this game badly but also being thoroughly taken to the woodshed by a player on the other team that left Louisville to go play somewhere her skills were respected and used.

It was constant head scratching in that 2nd half. They played with no discipline or intelligence all the way to the end with the wrong player taking the key shots.

Walz seemingly alright with it all.

I can't pronounce very well or spell the two foreign born players who play on the inside. Both are not ACC caliber players. They're more like Sun Belt or OVC level.

Yet, they back up Cochran and Harris and when they're in, the team struggles to score or even hold onto the ball.

Curry is obviously the alpha, the most trusted shooter, kinda like Hepburn for the men. Guard play is not the Cards problem, it's the front court and that includes the wing forward position.

Walz has a lot of work to do.

Alas, that is not correct. Elif is just a Soph and she has been holding her own. The Aussie girl is a FR!! Nyla has been sub-par - unfortunately. Olivia had a great game tonight; but, she hasn’t exactly been stellar. The team has held its own without Olivia and Nyla in the lineup. Tonight was about poor shooting. Also, anyone watching this game - good lord, Beers shoved, pushed and tossed our players around without penalty. It was sickening.

The last 10 minutes of the loss to UK (5 of which were in OT) and today’s loss to OU were identical ….. poor execution on both ends of the court resulting in being unable to defend the opponent, and inability to score. One of our starters (Williams) and 4 reserves coming off the bench contributed 0-13 from the field, which unfortunately tells me that we are in for a long and disappointing season.

Cochran, Harris and Curry appeared exhausted in the 4th quarter.

One of my biggest complaints of Walz is the lack of a big in the middle. He just can’t seem to recruit what we need. It’s been an issue since Kaylee graduated.

Williams was missing all night long. It's like she needs glasses.

He has 6’2”, 6’3”, 6’3”, 6’4”, 6’4” and 6’5”. He has size. He should have used Hardy last night (IMO). Beers is 6’4” - it wasn’t like she was towering over our post players.

It's not just the size Walz needs, it's talented size. So what if a player is 6'4 if she can't jump more than a couple of inches, or have any post moves?

Beers doesn’t do either of those things well. Hardy is a great leaper.
