Defense did their job 3 and out . Great field position and the suspect playcalling three and out. It ain't all English people just don't want to admit Brohm Lombardi playcalling is suspect

Nothing wrong with that playcalling. You get the ball at midfield and you run your top back for 8 yards on two plays. It's the dropped pass on 3rd down and Shough afraid of getting hit on 4th down that is to blame.

It's been little weird shit like this all season. 4th down is the kiss of death when Louisville goes for it.

So far I am really surprised I thought this would be a bounce back game for us. BC has nowhere near the talent of ND, SMU or Miami and we are making them look good.

Do they understand they have to cover against the big play on 4th and short? How many times have we been burned on it?

That's how you do it on 4th down.

It's amazing how the University of Louisville almost always seem to have bad defensive coordinators.

BC ran that 4th down play quickly like they knew the Cards would not be prepared.

So far it looks like the players are not engaged.

Except for that 4th down play, the defense has stopped BC every time.

It's the offense that looks disengaged. Shough appears gunshy after that INT. I think the emotional let down of losing those three close games has some of these players playing not to lose.

This is where coaching comes in.

Cards need to go deep on this next drive. Look for a big play.

If this been any other coach with the way this team is playing. All you would hear is he needs to go. It's okay too criticize the Brohm Lombardi he is the HC starts and stops with him.

The amount of self inflicted wounds is unreal. Blow a coverage TD. Holding prevents a big play. It is just bad football.

So far every game this year we don’t look prepared to start the game. It’s like we have to wait until the 2nd quarter until we have things figured out. That is on the coaches mainly the offensive and defensive coordinator’s.
