Read the CJ story on Louisville Trinity this morning. Trinity's defense is giving up 5 points a game and opponents have rushed for a total of -4 yards, season total. No rushing TD's. Defense has next level size at most positions. Yet only 1 player has a decent D1 offer, Dingle's UC offer. Folks are saying this is best defensive team in Kentucky high school history.

"All 11 starters are seniors, and the majority of their backups also are seniors. The length comes in the linebacker corps, where Jack Dingle (6-4, 215), Charlie Ely (6-2, 225), Jackson Schulz (6-2, 215), Aiden McKinley (6-2, 195) and Branden Stearman (6-2, 220) are among the playmakers. Free safety Blake Ruffin (6-3, 200) is the stopper in the back. "

" Cobb said every senior on the defense will have the opportunity to play college football. Dingle (Cincinnati), Ruffin (Eastern Illinois) and end Alton Jefferson (Eastern Illinois) already have signed. Out with a foot injury, Ely has committed to Appalachian State but will grayshirt and sign in December of 2021. Stearman has committed to Lindenwood, an NCAA Division II school in Missouri."

What's the lack of offers tell you about the quality of high school football in Kentucky?
