Very nice and pretty impressive once you see the other names on that list. The Cards also had a 2 season long streak of no losses by double digits right? How does that rank in comparison to other teams?

Louisville went the entire 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons without losing by double digits. From 2012-13 through now the Cards have lost four games by double digits. I haven't compiled that stat for other teams, but I have confirmed that Louisville is the only team with no losses by more than 12 points from 2012-13 to now.

There's another tonite,albeit to a dangerous team,capable....

Hope the team brings the intensity and teamwork and the crowd is buzzing.

This is a great stat, IMO. It is a product of the focus and preparation Pitino makes with his teams. He takes care of business. The flip side is we all know the Cards have a cream puff OOC sechedule, but they STILL WIN. Plus their conference opponents which are challenging even when unranked. SOS, RPI, all that means nothing if you don't win your games!

We joke that RP hypes up nobodies... he always has. But that is part of his preparation. Keep pushing and challenging his teams. He wins the games he SHOULD win... and as the other stat shows, his teams are never out of it.

FSU is a quality opponent. They’re coming off a 69-62 win over Virginia, and also have wins this season over Florida and VCU. FSU is 49th in the RPI and 39th in the Sagarin Ratings, and they’re No. 34 in the ratings from Ken Pomeroy. This will be another test for the Cards.
