LOUISVILLE AT VIRGINIA TECH GAME THREAD- 9PM ACCN

I would really like to know why networks still schedule 2 hours for games when it seems none end in that time or less. A 40 minute game and an hour and a half of filler. Go Cards!

Kelsey likes to hold onto his timeouts for those out of bounds plays we're so good at.

Cards have let up a bit after that fast start, telling me the team may be more mentally fatigued than physical. Carelessness with the ball and missed open 3's since the early lead.

VT has some confidence because of those 3's.

Is that JJ Reddick playing for VT?

Some dude who was 4 out of his last thousand making 3's suddenly looks like the former Duke sharpshooter.

That's the BS that GT had when they beat the Cards. Louisville needs to stay out of offensive droughts.

It would be a nightmare if this is another game like Ga Tech.
It would be a much worse nightmare because GT is one of the better mid-level ACC teams while VT is one of the worst.

I think the Cards will be alright unless they miss a bunch of FT's and turn the ball over like they did at GT.

I wonder if Smith is 100 percent as his misses have been short.

If the Cards have a nice run and get the lead back up to 16 or so, I think VT will wilt and those long 3's won't be going in.

James Scott has to get better at the FT line. He's a liability in close games down the stretch.

CPK said before the game that the flu still lingers on the team most of it is players on the bench. He did say that R. Smith was still experiencing some of the effects of the flu though.

Cards are definitely not themselves tonight. They're working hard but they're a step behind both physically and mentally. VT is taking advantage and gaining more confidence.

Hepburn has to be the guy to hold onto this win. He however looks a tad off himself.

Stop the shooting the three and attack the rim. Cards have been successful doing that! I also thought the team could be suffering from some illness. They look a bit fatigued IMO.

That was a great play out of the timeout but Smith missed again. He's short on his shots tonight.

This is college basketball though. Iowa State lost to Oklahoma State tonight on the road.

I think if the Cards weren't so fatigued, they would be up 15 right now.

This really sucks. It's going to take some very good luck to win this one. We don't have one player standing out, they're all under performing.

These Tech fans are a little obnoxious you can hear them yelling at the refs. What’s the deal with the student section putting their fingers to their mouth and acting like they’re performing oral sex.

WTF Chucky. Why are trying to do too much. Just dribble the damn ball. O need to attempt multiple spin moves, etc. keep it simple and VT will foul. Not very smart.

What the hell was that Chucky? He's definitely off tonight. He plays so hard but sometimes the body just can't keep up with the mind.
