This was a really good refereeing crew the best we have had all year. The announcers were also good I enjoyed everything about the game including the win under pressure.
What a dynamite call by PK to put James Scott on the shooter which through VT all outta sorts the last 2 possessions! Great call coach! GO CARDS!!!
Weird game,Happy we won the game but mad at how we played. We played very nonchalantly to me 🤷🏽♂️
I'm hoping most of that was because they're recovering from illness but....some very uncharacteristic stuff from a lot of guys.
These guys haven't played well when ranked. Need to shake that off.
This game had nothing to do with playing tight because of the ranking, or the attitude of not respecting its opponent. There's a reason why the Cards best stretch of the game was the beginning that had them up 20 to 6.
That's when they were at their freshest. But it didn't take long before they took a step back and they were a shadow of themselves the rest of the way.
When you've been sick for several days, your metabolism is not where it usually is once you feel better and get back to work. You feel good enough to work (play), but you're not at your most proficient self. You get through the day (game) feeling beat and then relieved.
Louisville once again proved its mettle and won despite not being 100 percent. This team continues to amaze.
Hopefully everyone has their second wind come Saturday.
