IDK. For the most part he has. 2B has been the primary rotational spot. DH - that could be a different guy every game IMO.
He’s not overpowering. He’s just cooking with the placement and timing. Need to keep the damage minimal until the bats wake up.
The NC pitcher was really good in the 2nd game. A really good pitcher can locate while changing speeds. It totally messes with hitters timing and brain.
Brown is going to be a good one. Good movement, nice change and good curve/slider as long as he learns how to locate them consistently.
This is a good Louisville team but pitching will be the difference. I am not convinced it will hold up.

NCAA does not like to schedule DH's on travel days in case they can't get the games in. They don't make up conference games if they are not played.
Maybe not yet because now King is back playing again. Plus it is a long season, Davis and possibly Munroe will need rest. The other issue is that when Klein is not catching, we almost have to dH him which limits some PT for some like Early.
I agree 100%. I would definitely have stayed with Eberle. Just don't understand the change at all.
I want this game bad today. We've gone toe to toe with UNC so far. They may be better based on the rankings, and they do have some dangerous bats, but our squad is good. Let's close the weekend out on a high note.

Are they back? I think the bats must get better against off-speed pitchers. They looked confused at the plate yesterday and part of today.
Pitching. Tucker seems to have come out of his coma. Wyatt looks great. Several FR have looked very solid. So, the question is:
Is Detmers going to be ok?
We need Cutts to be a dude on the mound.
Can Hartman pitch to the level he is capable of?
If those three items are all Yes - should be a very good season.

Too early to tell about Tucker. He did get the save but he gave up a single and a walk before getting that 3rd out. I would say the jury is still out. King is back playing but really needs to be cautious with the hamstring especially when the weather is still iffy. Also don't know about the status of Alecea and how long he will be out. Is he day to day? Of course, it usually does boil down to pitching. I think they are optimistic about Detmers, but yes solid performances by Forbes and especially Michael.
Alex tweeked his back. He got in the game late. Nothing serious, CDM stated he was just sore. He could(should) rest him Tuesday again. EJKjr - IDK. Rotate him in as a DH along with Lippie, Early and Klein based on pitching matchups. To me, he has to show me something during actual game play that he can hit the ball and just not be out there hacking away.
King Jr. going three quarters speed down the line kinda bothered me. I thought if he's not 100 just wait. Idk
Alicea hurt his back Friday when he ran into the fence, what I heard at the field yesterday. I expect him back Friday. Shiver is a pretty good defender.
