It’s a Friday double header tomorrow.

Totally shocked. That is REALLY hard on UofL who just played two mid-week games. Dbl-headsr on Sunday - sure. Thank you ACC.

Not an expert in such matters but really don't get the 'closer" thought process. Eberle was throwing smoke, why the hell yank him? Biven closed the game but could have just as easily given up some runs.

I part of it was about Biven getting his mojo back.

He has been so good. That first inning was bad; but, he has settled down. Our guys need to hit the ball.

He was still throwing in 90s in the 6th inning. Cards couldn’t hit him. What I did like is that, once again, the team kept getting after it all the way to the end. I hope we get to their pitcher early on Sunday and win this series.

The NC pitcher was really good in the 2nd game. A really good pitcher can locate while changing speeds. It totally messes with hitters timing and brain.

Brown is going to be a good one. Good movement, nice change and good curve/slider as long as he learns how to locate them consistently.

This is a good Louisville team but pitching will be the difference. I am not convinced it will hold up.

Is it time to settle on the 9 hitters?
Maybe not yet because now King is back playing again. Plus it is a long season, Davis and possibly Munroe will need rest. The other issue is that when Klein is not catching, we almost have to dH him which limits some PT for some like Early.
