How do we stack up against Virginia?

We are a modestly talented, young football team, racking up injuries that deplete our modest depth each week. Credit to Scott and Bryan for keeping this team going in the right direction. I do worry that at some point the 4.9 yards per rush we’re currently yielding will bite us.

Virginia is 3-2 just like us, against Sagarin’s 35th toughest schedule. Ours is 30th toughest. It should be a great matchup.

Virginia will throw 45 to 55 passes. Armstrong can really sling it. He's very similar to Dylan Gabriel who we saw against UCF. The running game is below average with just one very good back.

They would like to be more balanced but their defense has been so ineffective they have throw to keep up.

Louisville should be able to continue scoring on the Virginia defense. Malik is playing great and the young receivers are getting better each game.

The defense needs to hit Armstrong and pressure him where he tends to make mistakes. If he has time he can pick a defense apart.

Cards need to limit mistakes like holding penalties and celebration penalties and execute the offense. The defense can make enough big plays to give the Cards a win.

Nice job TheRealVille. Hope our D can do a better job than 27 points allowed, but I’ll take it.

I'd love to see our safeties gamble a little bit more or scheme zone coverage around his favorite targets to set them up for the pick 6.
