Great first quarter at ranked FSU. Shows what this team is capable of. Now, can they maintain focus and intensity?

What is it with the Cards not holding onto the ball? They have butterfingers in this game. Cochran has dropped three rebounds, two directly out of bounds.

Everything is now a foul on Louisville. 7 to 2 in fouls in the 3rd quarter.

I would never watch college women's hoops if Louisville wasn't an elite program. The officiating is so bad and inconsistent it's unbearable to watch.

I am out of town and can’t watch the game and I am keeping up with it online. I felt good when we had the big lead but as I watch the lead dwindle it is more stressful than watching it live. Is Arenas playing or is she injured I haven’t seen that much of her lately.?

She played earlier and was a bit erratic. Harris may have gotten dinged up though. If the refs whistle calls evenly in the 4th I think the Cards can pull off the upset.

I never seen so many players pick up their dribble at such random times. They place themselves in trouble way too often by doing that.

Darn 2:00 left and we are up by 15 Inam going to have to watch the replay on YouTube. I am looking at the stats and I can see Curry is having a great game with several other players. I notice one of them is Imari Berry she definitely needs more playing time she is a baller.

Played really well.

Really hard to guard a team that ducks their head and drives, with terrible officials

Answered every call. Never had that dry run. Big win!

Could tell Jeff was jacked about this one, was cheering every bucket

I was critical of Elif coming into this contest, but her 7 points and overall performance was really excellent, and she deserves a lot of credit for continuing to listen to CJW.

Nick Curran is not a homer by any stretch, so when he is so adamant about a one-sided officiated contest, it must have been pretty bad. UL was whistled for 21 fouls, while FSU was whistled for only 11 (and several of those were only called as they were intentional at the end of the 4th quarter), and FSU shot 26 FTs to our 11.

I did not hear Jeff’s post game comments, but Nick witnessed Jeff’s anger during the entire game with the lack of calls against FSU.

Finally got rid of that 4th quarter swoon. Cards were tired of it and did a great job against the 'Noles.

This game however is a perfect example of why women's hoops is so hard to watch. Why the NCAA hasn't addressed the terrible officiating that's only getting worse is a hard to figure. It hurts the game and it should be easy to correct.

I just watched the post game show and he said we have 6 players fighting the flu. He told them they could be sick before the game and sick after the game but they couldn’t be sick during the game.
Walz he’s one of a kind.

We have seen some great moments in UL WBB, but yesterday’s upset at FSU, in its own way, was as much of a defining moment as I can recall in a long time. We are currently in 4th place in the ACC, but had we lost last night we would have slipped down to 6th place.

We still must play at both Duke and ND, and host UNC ….. all rated in top 15; so it is an extremely challenging task, but UNC, Duke and NCST have equally challenging schedules as well, and assuming that ND continues its domination in ACC, the battle for 2nd place is wide open.

Go Cards!

I was wondering about the flu. I thought Olivia was sick during the last game. If one is sick more surely are as well.
