Football Storm Warning

regretfully, and my wife can back this up and i apologize for the harbinger of death, but during the 2014 baseball regionals i think, we were leading in the seventh (clemson?), our pitcher was dealing massive curve balls, and mcdonnell took him out, our reliever then got cocky after a strike out and at that moment i looked at my wife and said that's the peak of louisville sports when we rubbed it in while the game was still in doubt.

and at moment they choked the lead and lost the game and since then soccer, baseball, men's and women's basketball, and football have all failed to achieve their potential or live up to their rankings in the last three years. now the other sports, especially the individual ones like olympic sports have done awesome, but the main team sports have all suffered since that fateful night. basically since we won the cbs/capital one all sports champions cup, it's been disappointment for failed potential at the end of every season. (btw, even though the baseball got the to world series this year, they were ranked #1, had the #1 player, #1 reliever, and basically #1 pitcher and didn't do much once they got there so still failed their potential)

The root of any issues can be found in incomplete recruiting. We lacked balance in the recruiting classes, so we have some areas that not only lack talent but lack experienced depth.

Please see my post titled "lack of depth on defensive line"
