Just looked at the ACC leaders in points scored on offense and points allowed on defense. We lead the ACC on points scored. Unfortunately we are the third worst team on points allowed. With that said, all attention to Petrino at these news conferences ought to be when are you cleaning up your defense? Granted, FSU game was an improvement. However, why did that amount of improvement take 8 games? Lamar deserves better than the coaching effort displayed by our defense.
