I have not been impressed with Cochran’s or Dixon’s play. They miss simple layups regularly. It’s very frustrating. Cochran very rarely jumps. Just not impressed, which is shocking because Cochran showed a lot of promise last year. Maybe it’s a sophomore slump thing.
Dixon’s been here long enough to get it, but her game is inconsistent.

I believe that BC returned all 5 starters from last season; if so, that explains their performance today, and why they will present a huge challenge to other ACC teams going forward.

NCST is very, very good. Cunane dominated Olivia and Liz last year, and Perez was most effective running their offense. Emily would be a real good defensive challenge for Cunane, but I suspect Jeff cannot afford to allow her to get into foul trouble.

At NCST tells me the winner will be decided by how the officials call the game. Look to see the number of fouls called in the first half on Olivia, Liz and Emily for an indication as to how much the Wolfpack crowd influences the officials.
