Not sure who OSU is throwing, likely Senior Bevacqua. He was been decent in his last start against Wichita St , but he gives up a lot of hits. Opponents hitting almost .330 against him on the year. We need our bats to come out early. OSU's releivers have been solid this year, their whole staff has been, but their starters have handled the bulk of the innings, so it would be nice to get into the pen early and force them to use McMurray and/or Perrin today just in case we have to play on Monday. Their best arm out of the pen threw 3 innings this afternoon, so that helps. Not sure if they would make Hursh available on Monday on 2 days rest, he threw 80 pitches and had Tommy John surgery last year, so I doubt his arm will be ready.
We just need the bats to show up today, Kime and the staff will be ready.

Yesterday was odd. I read on here how the Miami pitcher that we were facing was heavy on curve balls. Our batters looked shocked that he was throwing curve balls on 3-1, 2-0 counts. I hope they are more prepared on the expectations today.
