Cards earn the 5 seed in ACC tournament

Cards earn the 5 seed and are matched up with Duke 4 seed and Wake Forest 9 seed in Pool D. UNC was the overall 1 seed followed by Clemson (#2) and NC State (3). Pool
play begins on Tuesday.

Cards defeat Wake Forest 10-2 in the first pool game. Reid Detmers got the win who is now 4-1 on the season. Stowers continued his hot hitting by nearly hitting for the cycle, a double, triple and HR with an amazing 6 rbis. Next up is Duke on Friday. Go Cards!
