I think this is the make or break game of the season. Lose this one and doubt is going to start creeping into the minds of the players right as we reach the toughest part of our schedule. Win it and
WF will still be tough but at least our confidence will be high.
After this week we play:
Wake Forest - Will be 5-0 , at home, and well rested coming off a bye week.
Clemson - They got their scare for the year at UNC
Virginia - Has shown some chinks in the armor lately. Tough playing them after Clemson
Miami - Road game against talented team
NCST - We can win this one if injuries are not an issue and we have some confidence.
SYR - See NCST
UK - See NCST
If we lose to BC I think we lose at least through Miami. We would go into Raleigh with a 5 game losing streak. Win and I think the confidence gained may set us up for a couple of upsets(WF/Virginia or maybe Miami) We need to come out of the Virginia game at least 4-4 to have a shot at a bowl game.
The Key to beating BC will be stopping the run. They are averaging 252 yards a game(29th in the nation). Passing is 129th in the nation at 221 yards per game.
