As much as I would love to have JQ if 1.5-2 million is what he is truly asking for then let him walk.
Agreed, particularly for an incoming freshman. Money better spent elsewhere.
Neither sUcK nor Arkansas is interested him any longer, he must have been asking too much. If that is the case I actually think both schools did the right thing for losing interest in him.
I'd be cautious in believing everything we read about these recruits. Maybe he has no interest in playing for Pope or living in Ark for a few years. We really don't know. I am sure he's looking for a good deal just like every other player is, but it's highly possible butthurt fans of UK and/or Ark are running the kid down now that he appears to have removed them from his list.

The buzz was trending towards UofL but nothing was official yet. I was getting excited but didn't want to get my hopes too high yet.
That said CPK got 2 commits in one day.
Like someone else on here said, I'll cheer for him if he ends up coming to UL. Would rather use that money for 2 or 3 experienced players though.
I thought once you hired an agent you are no longer eligible. Or has NIL pretty much thrown that out the window ?
