ACC Network

About the only reason I continue to overpay for my HD cable TV package is to watch U of L games. I've got AT&T U-Verse. Alas, the ACC Network is not included in any of their packages.

I can stream the game online through ESPN3, but I always find that to be unpredictable, slow, choppy, fuzzy and annoying. Does anyone get the ACC Network? I want to watch as many U of L games as I can and if I can't do that through cable TV, then I'm ready to finally cut the cord.

Ideas?

I'm a TWC subscriber, and I have less and less issues streaming from ESPN3. Once it was as you describe. Now, I hardly realize I'm not watching my HD box...

Direct TV would have these games now in it's Regional Sports package. When the ACC Network is really up and running with a dedicated channel as part of the ESPN Networks, you will have 3 choices then. Live streaming via ESPN App, Cable that has the ACC network in it's package, or Direct TV that has ACC network in a package.

I live in Bonita Springs, FL during the winter and I have found using the play ESPN app via Apple TV will get most games. I watched the Norte Dame game and will watch today's GA Tech that way.

I live in Virginia, so the only games I get to watch on tv are the ESPN, and CBS (considering they aren't showing UVA, UNC, etc. as well) broadcasted games.

At this point, I don't believe the ACC Network has really accomplished anything with regards to allowing for stream of more games, as it is just a network that streams through ESPN3, WatchESPN apps. Prior to the formation of the ACC network I was able to view 99% of our games through ESPN anyhow. As has already been said, once it becomes an actual network in 2019 it will be a great channel to watch on television sets. Until then forced to stream through the ESPN apps, which hey it is better than nothing but I get sick of watching the games in a bit of a delay and seeing the same 2-3 commercials for 2 hours.

Try connecting directly to the internet modem. I do this with my Roku (with a Slingtv app at $20/month for the ESPN/ACC packages) and have no issues anymore with streaming. Good luck!

I think this is mostly correct--just a repackaged version of ESPN3. It may drive the availability of more streaming content in the short run...

I have been able to get a couple Card games on Bounce TV (ch 258) here in NoKY on Cincy Bell Fioptics. It is not on their printed program guide and I found it strictly by accident. Hope this helps someone.
