I mean for cable and sat viewers it makes sense. I at least have the ESPN app on Roku which is the where everything is heading.Wondering why don't have an alternate network like the SEC does.

Happens to basketball as well. You could tell the announcers were anxious to get away from our Central Michigan game last night to get to the marquee Notre Dame/Michigan St. game.Not really needed as long as the streaming service ACC Network Extra works correctly. So far they’ve had some glitches, such as the start of the UofL-Miami basketball game.
But to answer your question, I’m sure that an alternate channel will be created if the market demands it.
