This is good news, in my opinion, in the big picture. Not sure exactly how the total money will work out .... which may change my opinion somewhat. But extending the Grant of Rights along with this TV deal extension should lock things up regarding our conference members as expansion targets of other Power 5 for quite a while. Which -- to me -- is pretty freakin' important. It also means that should Notre Dame decide to put its football program in a conference before 2036, it must be the ACC. (I honestly don't ever see that happening though).
