Mack and team needs to mask up and play the covid game safely. Coach needs to follow rules and be a leader.
Georgia State game got cancelled yesterday. Lebron out because of covid. Dallas Mavericks coaches were out.

Hopefully the team will come out with energy and focus. Though after returning from the Bahamas and just getting Mack back at the helm might cause some problems.

He's the sole reason we were at 7 points for three straight possessions letting MSU take the lead. Best thing about it is he has two fouls and won't play again until the 2nd half.

What in the hell is it with these blown bunnies? A couple of our guys look like they can't play JV hoops. And Locke has got to be the worst good 3 point shooter I have ever seen. Many of his misses are airballs and bricks.

Mich St is solid, they are at home, and they are knocking down their open looks, especially from 3. They have a hot hand or two.
Cards just turn it over too much, and these turnovers are real bad. They are out front where MSU can get run outs. Earlier in the year it was our bigs, tonight it's the guards.
Mack tried to address the shooting. He added what seemed to be legit 3 pt shooters. They are not making anything. The 3 pt shot was a big issue last year. It's early in the year they can improve, but they have got to make 3s to compete moving forward.
I do like the toughness from Malik, and Dre. These guys are the heart of this team. If the Cards were soft they might have fallen down 15ish but they hung in there so still in range but can't expect a W tonight. Decent half court D a few break downs and Sparty did what good teams do, made the Cards pay.
Everything going wrong for Sam. You want him to succeed but I don't know what you can do for him.

We're deep in we have a big roster of capable players, but during a game I would expect the players who are playing well would get the minutes.

West looks like a solid PG. Good run to start 2nd half playing passing lanes. Dre just gets after it.

We are so weak. Maybe too many egos on the team. It’s still early in the season so I still have a little hope.

I had a bad feeling about this one. The return of Mack I thought might actually be a bit awkward to all involved. They are not mentally into it...at all.
It's just dark times for UofL sports. I believe the women's team will also be a disappointment this season. HVL is struggling and Walz doesn't have that all American he has always had.

No, they're making the same mistakes, taking the same bad shots. Michigan St is just better than the teams we have beaten.
Just look at Sam, Locke and Cross. None can make a shot tonight. That's not Mack's fault. They are supposed to be our best scorers.
It's also a true road game. Mich St won't shoot the 3 this well all that often.
But the Cards have their own issues. The shooters are not shooters right now. That's just gonna have to change in future games if they want to salvage a season.

Clock ticking on Sam. You want him to succeed as a Card but this inconsistency out of him is going to keep him as a secondary player. Not what was expected when he signed.
The Bahamas tourney field was crap. We were just the best smelling crap there. Mississippi State & Maryland? Mediocre teams. You take the victories you can get but beating them? Years ago we’d have humiliated them. We are again offensively challenged. It’s frustrating.
