IU - ND -- Domers rip the training wheels off of the Hooshiers on Irish home field in welcoming them to big boy CFB, they are not ready for prime time either.

Sat 21 Dec:

CU - TX -- Dabo gets his best performance of the year by his Tigers and upsets the over rated all year long Longhorns, Tigers hook um horns in a big surprise to the folks in Texass.

UTenn - OSU -- Tough call for me on this one... but going with the HF adv that the Buc Eyes will have in this game. Vols will find a way to choke but keepit close

SMU - PSU -- will turn out to be the best game of the four, the Mustangs will strut their stuff vs the overated Nitwit Lions rolling to the W as speed kills and the tangs have more of it then the plodding Lions--Tiebreaker - 34 - 27 Tangs.

Since not everyone started at the beginning and some did not pick every week...I am posting numbers of correct picks for total games pic'd with percentage of correct pics. Hope you all had some fun with this. and enjoyed the season.

I separated this ACC PIC UM Challenge into 5 groups. Except for group 1, the winner is decided by % of pics correct. So my hat is off to: Bragger of the year 2024 Pushupman, then HaydenHarris, knucklehank, ajg, and another CFD for leading the way in their group.

For the six of us that played every week, TY for supporting this Challenge and having the fortitude to put up with my commentary. I always wanted to be a sports commentor growing up but my life took a different path. This was a labor of love and something I really enjoyed and looked forward to doing. So again, TY one and all. Birth. Final 4 and NC will be at the YUM. Was an exciting match. The teams split during ACC play.
Cards face Pitt for tge 3rd time. Pitts won each of the previous meetings. Pitt beat SuCk to move on. Actually they smashed SuCk.

I think we’ll see the best basketball played and our best version of a team in Feb. obviously the injuries have significantly changed the landscape, but I think this group can be productive down the stretch.

We’re going to win a few we shouldn’t, and lose 1-2 we shouldnt between now and then. If Kelsey gets us to the tourney he deserves COY awards. Shooting will improve. Large portion of our poor % is shot selection; we rush and take bad shots. As guys learn to play at this pace and make the extra pass, shots will fall and that changes everything.

All that said, Lexington is a terrible matchup for us. I think we’ll be competitive and play hard till the end which hasn’t been the case the last several years. It’ll prob end up being a 15-17pt game, although the final score won’t be indicative of the performance. We’ll keep it close in 1st half and they’ll build a lead in the 2H that we can’t overcome. It’ll stretch out in the last few mins.

We have the right guy leading though. Just need to stay on board and give him another year or 2.

Koeterback12, sccard, and cardrock all with 7 of 9 correct. TB goes to K-12 with 33-30=63. cardrock with 31-24 =55 and sccard with 24-21=45. Actual score 34-31= 65. K-12 wins the TB.

My choker award of the week goes to SMU and Texas in how they lost their games.

Biggest surprise to me was how easy ASU handled ISU and how Oregon handled PSU's comeback.

But at 47 minutes in, Kenny Loggins talks about "This Is It", co-written by Yacht Rock King Michael McDonald ... and showing highlights of U of L versus UCLA in the 1980 National Championship game.
