Personally, I doubt the ACC officials have as much influence in the rankings as the rest of those coaches and media who influence the voting. I am no fan of FSU, UNC and other ACC Administrators who express their own displeasure towards the ACC Home Office, but I do understand their frustration with the Conference.
Miami is definitely worthy of their top 5 ranking, and most will concede that UL showed they matched up pretty favorably. As long as SMU remains healthy, they can play with anyone and have a good chance to break into the top 10 if they continue to take care of business. Losing early to ND in South Bend in the fashion that we lost, is looking better each week that ND wins.
National media along with opposing coaches are recognizing UL is very dangerous and worthy of top 20 ranking. If we beat Pitt and UK ….. I expect top 15 ranking .
