Who foresees a Indiana vs Louisville bowl matchup?

IU had some unfortunate luck that several teams on their schedule are not as good as they usually are.

Would anyone have believed watching the championship game between Michigan and Washington that just 10 months later, both would be big underdogs to Indiana?

The game against OSU will tell the tale on IU. If they win, they're a legitimate playoff team, and if they lose a close game, they may still sneak in but I doubt it. If they lose convincingly, they're definitely out.

Who foresees a Indiana vs Louisville bowl matchup?

IU is real, and if they beat Michigan as expected, they have as good a chance as any team in America.

I do not like IU, but there is a part of me that relates with their situation now, with what we experienced during the Schnellenberger era and the Petrino One era. Clearly, no one wanted to play us, and our close loss at Miami one year and our close loss to Rutgers another year kept us from a National Championship. The Bowl wins over Alabama and Florida were both discounted by those SEC loyalist as “they overlooked UL”.

UL, like IU was criticized as playing a weak schedule, and in truth it lacked the “usual suspects” who were considered worthy of being at the top.

Do you not get the fact that they intentionally dodged us for western Illinois? We would have been the toughest game on their schedule other than Ohio State.
