Well, HVL's college career is over. I never wished her ill will, though, her going to LSU did sting a bit. She went where the money was at. Can't fault her. My question is, is she WNBA material? I'm not sure she is athletic enough.
I love anyone who averages 12 rebounds a game, and anyone that is only 6’2” tall playing the 5 position must jump, something we have not seen too much at UL. I suspect that CJW will want Peterson to play the 4 next year. If we have learned anything at all, you must have someone in the 6’5” or taller range to defend inside to compete in WBB today.
He is an Alabama native and Kansas is not chopped liver. It shows how far we've come. To paraphrase Robert Frost, "And miles to go before we sleep." WTG CPK!
I am fully aware of Pearl's warts. And no, he does not walk on water. I do not consider him to be a great coach in a technical sense, but he is great at building fan interest. Kelvin is a great coach but also has warts. Nobody seems mention that anymore.
Doubt that it happens but a final between the two would be a giant FU to the NCAA IMO. That's pretty much my attitude toward the NCAA regarding Men's BB until that 2013 Banner is restored to its rightful place.
