Your Grade For This Football Season?

B+ or B

I would lean B to B-, but I factor in the big wins against Clemson and ending the Kentucky streak with a blowout.

I can't say A though, there was a lot of disappointment and we can't say there was not. With guys like Riley, Gillotte, and the others back on defense we were expecting a lot there. Our question marks were running back and how far Shough could take us, and those 2 ended up being our biggest strengths. The offensive line did it's job. We had more talent at tight end than we've had in a long time. WE had maybe the best season by a wideout in our history.

With all of those things factored in, the 8-4 regular season is disappointing. Like look at the losses. Notre Dame was great, but we were sloppy and not ready to play. SMU we just did not come ready to play and that's a game at home you have to win. Miami was great, but at home you have to take it. And you cannot lose to a team like Stanford.

10-2 was probably the A season with this level of talent. 9-3 (meaning no loss to Stanford) probably gets me to an A-.
