When I looked at our roster I was surprised how young our team is. We have some really good freshmen on this team and they are key players to the success of this team.
Cards still have Eberle, Michaels, Brown, Murphy and Schlagater. My guess is if the Cards have to play Monday we can see Forbes and Cutts again. I’d think Biven is the only one who may not be ready to go.
Talk about throwing errors; Tigers have no less than 6 errand throws in just 3 innings. Actually the 7th just occurred at home plate costing them their 3rd run while typing this note. Every one of UK’s 3 runs came directly from throwing errors.
I'm hoping that those first game jitters are to blame for the mental lapses and they have put it behind them going forward. I'm really expecting a much cleaner game tonight.
