WR Staples out for Auburn game

Louisville football will not have receiver Jamari Staples for Saturday's season opener against Auburn, U of L confirmed. Staples, a transfer from UAB, reportedly injured his knee during practice on Wednesday.

With Staples out, Louisville now has two receivers not playing. Alphonso Carter is also out.

Sophomore Javonte Bagley is listed as Staples' replacement on Louisville's depth chart.
