Recently it was reported that she will be leaving the BOT. As many recall Diane was one of three people that voted against the termination of Tom Jurich. Who is going to be named to replace her? The Trustee to replace her will be named by Governor Bevin. It took a great amount of courage by Diane to vote against Grissom, Papa John , Frazier ( Grissom's side kick from the Glenview Trust) , and others who may have ties to the Glenview Trust. Grissom my have the votes now, but keep in mind he had opposition in his termination of TJ, and his stated agenda to devalue athletics at UL!
How can we influence Governor Bevin on who he appoints to the BOT? We need a solid UL person. A UL grad who is like minded in our opposition to Grissom's agenda. Does anyone offer any ideas on who that might be?
Jack & AJ who seem to be politically connected. Was Diane a Dem or Rep? Does the political party makeup of the BOT still apply? How about the racial makeup of the BOT? How about a solid Black Man, who has a athletic background? Would Derwin Webb with his legal background work? How about another solid Black Women on the BOT? Bonita Black is a great Black Women . How about another women with solid UL ties? How can we organize a grass roots support to someone who is a counter balance to Grissom, and his money interested buddies??
