Florida State or Tennessee?

I say Tennessee. No $EC team not named Vanderbilt (or Ky) should lose to a Sun Belt team at home. Georgia State was picked to finish LAST in their division.

How the mighty have fallen.

Tennessee. Boise is a strong program and losing to them, even at home, is not nearly as bad as losing to Georgia State.

Tennessee with Missouri close behind. Bryant set the find on fire for over 400 yards himself...and lost to Wyoming.

UT.

Boise has a program. Georgia State was 2-10 last year. And it was in Knoxville. Ouch!

But he made crucial mistakes that cost his team 10 points in a 6 point loss. Fumbled deep in his own territory, which was returned for a score. And then right before the half, he threw an interception in the end zone that cost his team a shot at a chip shot field goal.

But don't you have to rack 'em up before you chest thump? Or do you just start with the big win over Toledo? Life as a KY fan.o_O
Yeah, but better than a loss to Georgia State or even Wyoming.
At least it was a real victory......getting tired all the years smoking moral victory cigars.

Soooooo, if you beat a middling MAC school on your home field in front of 50K+ fans by 14 after trailing in the first half is a “real victory” then does that make uahkay barely better than a middle of the road MAC school? Plus they played most of the 2nd half with their backup QB. Yep, stupes is right about there is work to be done. Not to worry though, with a schedule that gives you 8 home games and in an $ec division that is one of the worst divisions in all of college football should be of major comfort to all cayut fans.

Im just now finding out Ewe-T lost to GA State

Yeah, that $ec East is really tough. Hahahahahaha. If uahkay can’t win at least 7 games this season then stupes should be tarred and feathered and run out of town. WTH I could coach a team to 7 wins in that division. Let’s see, 8 home games and the easiest P5 conference division in all of college football. Yep, that adds up to at least 7 wins. Or the old bucket of tar comes out.:p:p:):)

The problem isnt that, its that Alabama and Georgia arent punished for a week SEC east.
Every day, someone bashes the ACC because its Clemson and the little 13.
Ckemson and FSU can make the CFP under such scenario, UofL wouldnt.
The elitism in college football is sickening.

And this is my reasoning for going to an 8 team playoff. It would provide greater opportunity for schools like THE UofL. As the BIG starts getting left out more and more then you’ll start seeing them press for an expansion to 8 teams and then you’ll also see the PAC AND ACC screaming also.

During the initial CFP year, paul finebaum said THREE of the 4 teams should be from the SEC

If it expands to 8 ( it will) 4 if the teams will be guaranteed from the Big10 and SeC. More elitism.

Id rather see 8 conference winners, instead of 3 at large Selected teams
No playoffs should have more than one team from a conference.

8 teams would be better. Some years down the road. Georgia's East run seems sure after one game, depending on if Florida gets their psycho ward together or not. Missouri is going to score points....don't know if they can stop anyone.
Alabama has a tougher run. Fisher is building a monster at aTm, Auburn is in its good year rotation, LSU seems legit.
Far as the Cats win....yep...take it all day.
Clemson, though.....mighty fine football program. Hard out for anybody.

florida st did. tennessee is rebuilding but Taggert should be fired. tennessee has been a has been for decades. FSU used to be the pinnacle and now they just plain suck with the best talent int he country. taggert was a horrible hire for them, he's their krags. tagpoop is what their fans should call him. he'll be gone by next year and the next guy will lead them back. tennessee at least is getting used to these collapses

They could make it 16 and it wouldn’t be legitimate as long as a committee selects the participants. We need objective criteria known to all before the season starts. No more opinions!

Oh definitely Tennessee. Over like the last 10 years, Boise State has almost the best win pct of any team in the FBS. Now, that is the MWC, but still. Nothing to shake a stick at.
