Was kind of cool watching FR play extended minutes

It was nice to see a few young guys get a chance to play. You could make the argument Perry was the key to the win, and Nwora really stepped up.

If these guys shoot 100% from the floor this year, we're going to have a great team!

They all hit big free throws unlike certain upperclassmen.

IMO, no. Cards probably would have opened up earlier than they did if Pitino was here. Team got beat off the dribble pretty much the entire game, I think Pitino would have cleaned that up at the half.

Now lets be honest their is no choice but to play them they are the bench pretty much. And considering what the future holds for this BB program. Padgett would be committing self suicide by not playing them. However i was very happy to see freshman allowed to go make mistakes and continue without the Ricky P. hook. All coaches have their good and bad flaws. And that freshman quick hook was Ricks elephant in the room
