VT gave up 64 yards to UC’s RB (Warren) on 5 consecutive carries for the 4th quarter go-ahead TD. UC lined up with double TEs and made no secret of their plan to run between the tackles, straight at VT. I have seen a lot of college football this year, but that was the most dominating offensive series that I have witnessed so far where one team over powered an opponent in such a dominating manner. VT was up by 3, so that series resulted in a Bowl victory for UC.
Luke Fickell appears to have taken his DC mentality and figured out a way to transfer that physicality over to his Offense. No fan of UC, but if they can hold on to this HC they will be a tough opponent.
