Louisville signee VJ King will participate in the prestigious Jordan Brand Classic game in Brooklyn

It's been a good week for Louisville signee VJ King, a five-star wing who plays in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.

First, he was named to the midseason watch list for the Naismith high school player of the year award. Then, on Friday, King was selected to play in the Jordan Brand Classic, a national high school hoops showcase for some of the best players in the country.

The Jordan Brand Classic is set for April 15 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. It's one of the two marquee high school all-star games, along with the McDonald's All-American game.

Strange since he is going to an adidas school. I think he is the only non Nike school kid in the game.

Must have undeniable talent.

Yeah, that is odd that he was picked even though he is not going to a Nike school. I guess it would speak to his talent that they still wanted him for the game.
