It’s not really the same and clearly the ACC didn’t get Clemson ready for anything the last 2 years. Regardless I’m not getter by into “oh you’re a Kentucky fan argument.” Just because someone doesn’t think this team is going to win 8-9 games and shock the world doesn’t mean they’re a Uk fan.

Welllllllllll......😏 lol...fans is fans. Kinda shorthand for fanatics sometimes.

I think it's going to be an interesting season, in all honesty:

The chatter for us blue fans is a new offensive scheme. Could work. Could crash and burn. History has proved that Mark Stoops likes power, grind out clock control football. Works well enough, but has huge drawbacks as well....the unspoken one is when that's what your D practices against, a team with outside zone blocking and a disciplined receiving group tears you up.
That could be fixed....maybe. but I lay odds that in tight games or with a lead Stoops goes back to no pass 3 yards a carry football. We will see.

The Cards, from my outside look in will fight to offset size with speed on the lines. That also CAN work, with depth, but can also lead to melt downs for no other reason than wearing out.

We find out soon enough.

I won’t even get into Kentucky. You’d be surprised at how many 4 and 5 stars they have on their roster.

Elam was a 4*, get lost chump! Kentucky fans are ecstatic after a 4-6 season. A coach for them even said they are close to Alabama, even after a 63-3 loss to them😂. You guys always kill it in May and June.

Wow I’d love to be as “knowledgeable” about college football as you are but I’ve only been around for about 60 of my years as a football fan. Most of which I’ve followed UofL and uahkay and neither of them have ever truly been considered a football powerhouse. Good years yes, but a football powerhouse, never. Please tell me and the rest of the UofL fans how many SEC football titles uahkay has won? They are simply a pretender in the SEC.

I wouldn't consider the kittens pretenders in the SEC but historically they are the dirty doormats in the SEC. You are what your record says. Current count they are 59 games below .500 in 106 seasons. There over all record stands at 504-563-36.

UL overall record is 522–473–17 (.524). Historically who has the better team? U of L!

You said Ole Miss has the talent of a top 2-3 team in the ACC - they don't. They have considerably less talent than Clemson, FSU, Miami and North Carolina and roughly the same number of 4-star and 5-star players as Va Tech, NC State and Ga Tech. I feel like most people would consider that not top tier because they're clearly in that mix of teams 5-7. Where they finish is a separate argument. Talent wise - they'd be closer to middle of the road ACC. UK has slightly more, but not by a lot.
