Dang it. Needed to get that run in.. Just feel like Vandy is getting ready to put some hits together against our bullpen.
I know what you mean Bardman my heart is racing also. Earning a run or two in the 9th would sure help.

What a testament to CDM and the resilience of this roster! We made a few uncharacteristic mistakes, but then so did Vandy; otherwise it was typical of this rivalry. So proud of the Cards stepping up, and while the TV commentators were as expected “pro SEC” in their telecast; they noted that earlier UL series losses could be explained based on the injuries.
When the pitching staff throws strikes they are really good. It is weird how wildly inconsistent they are. Is Klein the safety net the staff needed?
We will see it won’t be easy knocking out Vandy. There pitching staff is legit.

Oh man,might take most of the day to get over that one. We are the talk of the town, so to speak after that takedown last night.
In fact,the whole league is. I'm glad Tuck was pissed about coming out. There is a plan in place for tonight and potentially tomorrow and it includes all of the pitchers from last night including Mr Biven 😀

A few thoughts over my morning coffee:
Need to get the Brink's Truck ready if we want to hang onto Schweitzer. I get it, he bleeds red and black but he's gonna get a LOT of offers to bolt for a LOT of money. Same with Lucas Moore and a few others...
I was impressed by Biven's ability to rally after he momentarily lost his mind. He was pissed, he got yanked and I don't blame him. He seemed fine after the game during his post-game interview with Sean.
Absolute BS that Clemson permits standing room basically in the visitor's bullpen. I hate WVU but what their pitching staff was subjected to BS.

What I'm hearing is those uni's have brought us luck before in Nashville.
My first opportunity to see the Cards play this year. I can tell you by living down near the TN. line, driving, working and going to games for many years, that Vandy is a very, very tough place to play. And, they love their baseball. Just ask UK. That said, I was impressed by the Cards enthusiasm, athleticism and certainly their pitching last evening. I've always liked Coach Mac. Vandy has to be down after losing that late night game. But, we may see them again. It's going to be a hot one down here today. Could be that Wright St. can knock them off. A smaller but very vocal Cards crowd last evening by the way. Go Cards!
I'm hoping that those first game jitters are to blame for the mental lapses and they have put it behind them going forward. I'm really expecting a much cleaner game tonight.
