USA U 19 WBB downs Spain 98-64

USA advances to the semifinals of the FIBA U19 WBB Tournament with an easy 98-64 win over Spain.

Payton Verhulst had 13 points for USA, including 3 for 4 from three-point range in the USA win.

The semifinals are set, with USA facing host Hungary and Australia going up against surprising Mali, who knocked Russia off.

Wow!! The more I see Payton play, the more I am sure she is going to play 20 plus minutes game this season. She is showing great skill in handling the ball when she is given the chance by the coach of the USA team, can certainly shoot the ball well from underneath to beyond the arc, and rebounds like she is several inches taller. Payton is demonstrating she has the entire package

Payton and HVL are a lot alike, they are both the complete package and they are both team oriented.
