Well what is your prediction for the 2 worst teams in the ACC. The bottom feeders with a combined record of 1 and 17.
Sad Shame GIF

On paper this game should be close. I cannot wait to see the opening spread for this game. I’m thinking between -6/-8 FSU?

Statistically, both teams are averaging about the same amount of rebounds per game, FSU averages more assists, less turnovers and have shot it a little bit better. I watched some of the FSU/UVA game last weekend and FSU played them tough in Charlottesville falling short 62-57. FSU always plays UVA pretty tough though and in my opinion, it’s hard to gauge any team against UVA with their style.

Hard to see the Cards competing unless there is some improvement in the amount of careless turnovers, poor defense and lack of energy/urgency, I see this as another bad loss. Cards lose by 10 to 15 points and would not be surprised if it’s worse.

FSU 70 Cards 62
I think it will be a better game than people are expecting.

I will go with FSU by 10 points.

El Ellis take 14 shots, turns the ball over 6 times, plays 0 defense and has 3 assists.

Florida State is a much better team and should win easily.
Everybody we play is much better but FSU is not a good team. The only advantage they really have is coaching which we all have seen, is pretty important not in just winning basketball games, but being competitive.

Agreed on the coaching. They shoot it better than we do, from both two and three. We're a little better at the FT line. We turn the ball over a lot more than they do, although they also have an assist to turnover ratio less than one. They have a good steals average, which definitely could hurt us with how frequently we turn the ball over.

More injuries for FSU as well. I did not know that they lost their starting Forward/Wing Cam'ron Fletcher in the UVA game to a knee injury. He is expected to miss the rest of the season. He was averaging 10.8 ppg and 8 rebs.

I'm still sticking to a 10 - 15 point loss for the Cards. Game may be a little more competitive. Might be able to keep it under 10.

I have a bad feeling FSU will look and play like All Americans against the Cards and it won't be close.

It has finally caught up to me. For the first time, I do not look forward to a game. I no longer have a secret hope that they will look better, much less win. I am sure I will feel different closer to tip, but right now…..meh.

The spread on Bovada Saturday morning is FSU -11.
That is a pretty decently high number for a one win team to cover. Vegas and betting public may finally be getting the picture on how epically bad we are.

FSU is kind of a trainwreck too with lots of injuries and weak at point guard.

-11 seems high but looks good. FSU will cover. I thought the injury to Fletcher might have a slight impact. Looks like it didn’t.

Just goes to show just how bad Louisville really is. That a 1 and 9 team is favored by 10+ points has got to be the most embarrassing part of this season so far.

Losing by 25 to ranked teams is bad, losing to 3 mid majors by a point each is maddening, but being so pathetic that a injury ridden 1 and 9 team is expected to still blow the Cards out takes the cake.

How anyone can defend KP if the Cards indeed get blown out by the worst FSU team in decades I will never understand.

If there's any chance this team can turn this season around, it has to be today against the Seminoles, even if that's a close defeat. If the Cards get blown out, I don't see how they win more than 2 games all season. Something that is so ridiculous I can't believe I'm typing it.
